The Laboratory of Culture and Value (CultureLab) of the NOVA Institute of Philosophy is seeking to recruit a Post-Doc Fellow in the scope of the Project Mapping Philosophy as a Way of Life: An Ancient Model, A Contemporary Approach, financed by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT/MCTES).

The selected candidate will work within the scope of the research project “Mapping Philosophy as a Way of Life: An Ancient Model, A Contemporary Approach”, funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology and hosted by IFILNOVA. The main aims of the project, as well as its planned activities and outputs can be consulted here. The candidate must have experience in the field of philosophy as a way of life and present a workplan compatible with the topic, with an ideal focus on one or several authors from this philosophical tradition. For the entire duration of the grant, the scholarship holder is expected to write at least one scientific article (possibly in co-authorship with other team members), to participate in the project’s monthly seminar, to help organize the final conference and to give editorial support to several ongoing publications.
