Bartholomew Ryan, an integrated member of IFILNOVA, will take part on 20 September in an online session dedicated to Fernando Pessoa, entitled “Exploring Critical Lives: Fernando Pessoa and Philosophy”. The session is part of the “Authors in Conversation” series, organised by the Poorvam International Journal of Creative Arts and Cultural Expressions, and will be moderated by Nilambar Chakrabarti, a researcher at Jadavpur University.

The conversation will focus on two books by Bartholomew Ryan dedicated to the Pessoa universe: Critical Lives: Fernando Pessoa, published by Reaktion Books in 2024, and Fernando Pessoa and Philosophy: Countless Lives Inhabit Us, a volume he co-edited, published by Rowman & Littlefield in 2021.
