The NOVA Institute of Philosophy (IFILNOVA) welcomes expressions of interest from Junior Researchers who intend to apply for fixed-term research positions funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT). These positions may last up to 3 consecutive or non-consecutive years, within a maximum overall period of 6 years.

Expressions of interest may be submitted in English or Portuguese (max. 1000 words, plus CV) and must include:

• a summary of the research project;
• a justification for its integration in one of IFILNOVA’s Laboratories;
• CV (attached).

Expressions of interest should be sent by 15 December 2025 to ifilnova@fcsh.unl.pt, indicating “CEEC Junior 2025” in the e-mail subject line. Results will be communicated by e-mail by 22 December.

According to the call notice available on the FCT website, Junior Researchers are those who obtained their PhD five years ago or less, counted at the application submission deadline.
