ArgLab researcher Maria Grazia Rossi will take part in the debate “Media, Communication and Language”, alongside researchers from other Research Units of NOVA FCSH. The session will explore questions such as: what phenomena do we need to understand today in the world of media and communication? Are the narrative futures shaped by AI only for the well-spoken? How can we tell the stories of those without a voice? With which voices do we coexist and construct meaning? And can we truly understand one another?

The debate is part of the NOVA FCSH Day of Research and Innovation (Dia da Investigação e Inovação da NOVA FCSH – DII), taking place on 11 November at the Colégio Almada Negreiros, under the theme “Investigação nos Eixos”. The event invites lecturers, researchers, PhD candidates and staff to a day of reflection and exchange on the research that defines the Faculty’s identity and its commitment to open, critical, and socially engaged science.

The event takes place on the same day as the celebrations of the 47th Anniversary of NOVA FCSH, held at the Rectorate of NOVA University Lisbon, celebrating science, innovation, and shared knowledge. Admission is free.
