Desafios de Governar para o Futuro: Democracia e Justiça Intergeracional

This book is the result of the work carried out by the authors within the scope of the “Present Democracy for Future Generations” project, funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (PTDC/FER-FIL/6088/2020) and developed at the Institute of Philosophy of NOVA University Lisbon (IFILNOVA). It addresses various topics related to democratic governance, its legitimacy, the voice and interests of future generations, adopting comprehensive perspectives both from a theoretical standpoint (encompassing different philosophical traditions) and a disciplinary standpoint (interweaving political, ethical, and legal considerations).
