The two new books in the Ensaio Aberto collection have just been published by Tinta-da-China, in partnership with IFILNOVA and PUC-Rio: “O mar, o rio e a tempestade: sobre Homero, Rosa e Shakespeare” by Pedro Süssekind (Fluminense Federal University), and “O escândalo da distância: uma leitura d’A Montanha Mágica para o século XXI” by João Pedro Cachopo (CESEM, NOVA). Both books will be launched on Tuesday, November 19, at 7:00 PM at Casa do Comum in Lisbon, with the presence of both authors and an introduction by Professor João Constâncio.
The following day, November 20, starting at 4:00 PM, a colloquium will be held in Auditorium A2 at NOVA FCSH, featuring the Ensaio Aberto collection coordinators, Pedro Duarte and Tatiana Salem Levy, along with the authors, who will engage in discussions with Clara Rowland and Maria Filomena Molder.
