Encuentro Internacional Fotografía Tiempo Ciudad

From 10 to 13 November 2025, the first Encuentro Internacional Fotografía Tiempo Ciudad will take place at the National University of Colombia, in Bogotá. This gathering aims to be a space where the image meets urban memory, offering participants, over the course of four days, the opportunity to explore the relationship between time, city, and image through lectures, forums, Pechakucha sessions, and portfolio viewings. Participation may be either in person or via online streaming, and all attendees will receive a certificate of participation.

The event will include the following lectures:

Nélio Conceição (Researcher at IFILNOVA)
The rhythms of everyday life and the power of interruption: on the temporal and political functions of photography

Constanza Solórzano (PhD candidate in Artistic Studies at NOVA FCSH / IFILNOVA)
Galáxias muy lejanas, álbum familiar y fantasmas del tiempo: disposiciones temporales en imágenes fotográficas astronómicas y genealógicas
