The enactive challenge to traditional neuroscience of consciousness: A critical review

On May 29, Mario Villalobos (University of Tarapacá) will give a LMCKG Visiting Researcher Seminar on “The enactive challenge to traditional neuroscience of consciousness: A critical review”.

The enactive, embodied approach to consciousness appeals to the physiological inseparability between brain and body to argue against traditional neuroscience’s internalism. In this talk, I show that this enactive argument fails as traditional neuroscience’s internalism does not depend on the separability between brain and body.
