José Gusmão Rodrigues
PhD Student

José G. Rodrigues is a PhD student in Moral and Political Philosophy at the School of Social Sciences and Humanities of NOVA University Lisbon (NOVA FCSH). He holds a master’s degree in Political Philosophy from FCSH and a master’s degree in Analytical Philosophy from the University of Barcelona. He was a master’s research fellow, collaborating on the project “Present Democracy for Future Generations”, with the master’s thesis “Saving for the Future: John Rawls and the Just Savings Principle”. Continuing this work, his PhD project, “What Political Duties of Justice Towards Future Generations? From National Constitutions to International Institutions”, funded by an FCT doctoral scholarship, will be supervised by Professor André Santos Campos (FCSH), Professor Iñigo González Ricoy (UB), and Professor José Luis Martí (UPF). His current research interests focus on political philosophy, philosophy of law, ethics, and meta-ethics.
