I am a PhD student in Communication Sciences, with a research scholarship from the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT, 2022.13313.BDANA). In 2011, I finished my BA in Languages and Business Relations at the University of Aveiro and in 2015 I earned a MA in Strategic Management of Public Relations at Escola Superior de Comunicação Social.

My current research focuses on developing an analysis of values and motivations for science communication from a practical argumentation approach to decision-making in argumentative polylogues. My thesis “Science Communication: a practical argumentation approach for a framework in EU-funded research”, which takes place partially in a non-academic environment, is supervised by Marcin Lewiński (Universidade NOVA de Lisboa) and co-supervised by Filipa Borrego (INOV – Institute for Systems Engineering and Computer Innovation).
