The “Spatialisation of Time” in Cinema: Aesthetics and Epistemology of Time Perception

The research work focuses on the question of how cinematic temporal representation depends upon the structure of our perception of time. It addresses this question in the context of the two following problems: firstly, the way in which film is a temporal art (an aesthetic question), and secondly, how we can find a solution for the “phenomenological paradox of perception of time” discussed in contemporary philosophy of perception (an epistemological problem).
