The conference series “Sobre os Sentimentos” (“On Feelings”), by Professor António de Castro Caeiro (CultureLab), is now available in podcast format. The 10 conferences that make up the series are being presented throughout the 2024/25 Season of the Centro Cultural de Belém (CCB), from 3 October 2024 to 26 June 2025. The first episodes are already available (in Portuguese) on Spotify and other podcast platforms.

A feeling is born, grows, and dies. It affects us — through a person or a circumstance — bringing us joy or sorrow. In “On Feelings”, the aim is to reconstruct what we feel: from the initial sense of wonder to experiences of desire and anger, of longing and melancholy, and to explore themes such as the sublime, the yearning for freedom, love, and hope in times of discontent.

This initiative marks another step in the mission to bring philosophical thought closer to everyday life — now accessible from anywhere.
