Requirements and additional Information

Admission requirements:

• hold a Master’s degree in Linguistics / Communication / Philosophy or related area;
• have carried out the research work that led to the award of the doctoral degree at an institution other than the one hosting the grant.

Preference will be given to applications that fulfil the following requirements:

• fluency in English and Portuguese;
• research experience in Discourse Analysis, Linguistic Analysis, or Argumentation Analysis;
• project research experience, particularly funded projects;
• ability to work in an interdisciplinary and multilingual research team environment.

The grant is expected to start in July 2025.

The scholarship amount is 1 309,64€ per month according to the table of scholarship values directly attributed by FCT, I.P. in the country. To this value is added the voluntary social insurance corresponding to the first level, in case the candidate opts for its attribution, as well as the personal accident insurance.
