Workshop with David H. Fleming & Pedro Inock — Session 2

The workshop “Introduction to Videographic Criticism, Cinema & Video Art”, led by David H. Fleming and Pedro Inock, members of the ERC project “FILM AND DEATH – Film-Philosophy as a Meditation on Death”, offers an introduction to videographic criticism, video essays, and video art as forms of research, thinking, and artistic practice. Across two sessions, participants will engage with editing, montage, philosophy, and the moving image as tools for critical enquiry and visual scholarship through theoretical discussion, debate, and hands-on experimentation.


Following the session on 16 June, the second and final workshop session will take place on 8 July, from 15:00 to 18:00, in room B211 at NOVA FCSH (Berna Campus).


Open to postgraduate students, academics, filmmakers, artists, and practitioners. The sessions will be conducted in English.
