The Lisbon Mind, Cognition and Knowledge Group (LMCKG), of the ArgLab, is organizing a reading group on The Tinkering Mind: Agency, Cognition, and the Extended Mind (OUP, 2022) written by Tillmann Vierkant (The University of Edinburgh) in preparation for the book symposium that will take place in Lisbon on July 15th.

The group will meet online once every month, the date is still to be determined.

The tentative reading plan is the following:

March: Chapters 1 & 2
April: Chapters 3 & 4
May: Chapters 5 & 6
June: Chapters 7, 8 & 9

If you are interested in participating in the reading group please reach out to Gloria Andrada (gandrada@fcsh.unl.pt) by March 3rd. The group will try to come up with a date that suits the majority of participants (to the extent possible).

Committed reading group participants will also have the opportunity to present in the book symposium in July.
