Adriana Placani is a research fellow at IFILNOVA. She writes in the areas of ethics and applied ethics, as well as political and legal philosophy. Her current research interests are in risk ethics and responsibility, with particular emphasis in these topics’ application to climate change and AI.
Before coming to IFILNOVA, she was a lecturer and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Graz in Graz, Austria. She was also a fellow at the Institute of Advanced Studies in Nantes, France, a fellow at the Centre for Advanced Studies in Sofia, Bulgaria, as well as a visiting scholar at Columbia University Law School in New York, USA. Her publications have appeared in numerous books and top journals.
