Adriana Placani (PhD, LUISS Guido Carli, 2013) is a research fellow at IFILNOVA. She writes in the areas of ethics, political philosophy, and legal philosophy. Her current research interests lie at the interface between the ethics of risk, responsibility and climate change.
Before coming to IFILNOVA, she was a lecturer and postdoctoral researcher in the Political Philosophy Department of the University of Graz in Austria. She was also a fellow at the Institute of Advanced Studies Nantes, a research fellow at the Centre for Advanced Studies Sofia, as well as a visiting scholar at Columbia University Law School. Her publications have appeared in numerous books and peer-reviewed journals.
