António San-Payo holds an MSc in International Economics from ISEG, where he wrote a thesis on the history of international monetary systems. He also holds a BA in Economics from ISCTE, having completed his final year at Université Paris Nanterre. He is a PhD student at IFILNOVA’s CineLab with a research scholarship by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT, 2021-2025). His research investigates the intersection of Spinoza’s philosophical framework and film studies, engaging with central debates in aesthetics and value theory.
