Diego Latini obtained both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Philosophy at Sapienza University of Rome, defending two theses focused on specific aspects of Friedrich Nietzsche’s thought. On two different occasions (2023 and 2025), he was awarded a post-graduate fellowship by the Istituto Italiano per gli Studi Filosofici (Italian Institute for Philosophical Studies) in Naples. He is currently a PhD student at NOVA University Lisbon / IFILNOVA. Furthermore, he is a senior member of the Seminario Permanente Nietzscheano (Nietzschean Permanent Seminar), an Italian research group dedicated to the study of Nietzsche’s philosophy. Latini’s main research areas are the History of Philosophy and Theoretical Philosophy, with particular attention to the figure and thought of Friedrich Nietzsche. More broadly, he shows a strong familiarity with the cultural horizon of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
