Doctoral dissertation title: Conscience, towards the mechanism of morality. Currently: Editor of the student forum for AI&Society, visiting researcher with Jun Tani’s neurorobotics lab in Okinawa, Japan. Recently, I taught philosophy and ethics for various programs at two universities in the Netherlands from 2018-2021. Philosophical focus is on moral cognitive development in the context of e.g. (artificial) autonomy, (artificial) self and purpose in (artificial) life. Inquiry with IFILNOVA involves abduction and self, into what I call “self-abduction”, alongside collaboration with affiliated researchers in related areas, such as with Robert Clowes on situated self and artificial consciousness, and generally in support of further interest in AI and related technologies such as in the ArgLab.
