Sofia Estudante is an MA student in Philosophy (branch of Political Philosophy) at Faculdade de Letras da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (NOVA FCSH). She concluded, in 2021, her BA Degree in Philosophy at Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa (FLUL), with a thesis entitled “A Comunidade como Condição de Possibilidade da Liberdade em Rousseau”, which was published in the magazine philosophy@LISBON no. 12. She is currently developing a Master’s thesis on Kant and Generational Autonomy under the supervision of Professor André Santos Campos, being a grant holder and member of the research project “Present Democracy for Future Generations”. She is also collaborating with the Lisbon Kant Group. Among her philosophical interests are freedom, autonomy, normativity, and community life.
