Pietro Gori

The 8th session of the Art of Living Research Group will take place on Tuesday, June 22, at 6 pm (Lisbon time) on Zoom. The session will be presented by Pietro Gori.

William James’s philosophical thinking is based on three fundamental topics: radical empiricism, pragmatism and pluralism. The aim of the lecture is to show how, in his later writings, James attempts to relate these themes in a systematic way, addressing some of the most relevant questions in metaphysics in the context of a philosophy focused on human existence, with implications concerning ethics and practical action.
