Scaling Up the Bayesian Brain

The Bayesian brain is typically the view that there are intelligent approximations to inferences supposedly happening at underlying neural mechanisms. This conference focuses on the philosophical framing of inference mechanisms, in terms of neural networks and cognitive function such as memory, and on the question of how they scale up or form the basis of paradigmatically intelligent cognitive activities.
